What is it with awards that they seem to come in batches? I've been awarded this baby by Taz at Ratbag and Suzie at Itch2stitch.com.
Apparently I have to share 7 things about myself. My god I gave you five things in the last blog award - I have nothing left to tell you!
1. My hair is the bane of my life. It's wavy so is that awful inbetween - not straight but not full of bouncing curls. Instead it's all over the place and takes forever to straighten. Plus I'm officially going grey. And I'm not just talking a few strays here and there, I'm talking full on, too-many-to-count-let-alone-pull-out grey. At 27. Depressing.
2. I have a Masters degree in Development Economics. Which I've never used. That was an awesome waste of money.
3. I have my tongue pierced. It's pretty far back so no-one can really see it unless I open my gob wide enough (which unfortunately is quite often). I've been thinking about taking it out but I'm not ready to let go yet.
4. I have been an Auntie since I was 13 and I have 3 nephews. I am dying for a niece and have my fingers crossed that my sister-in-law's current pregnancy is going to end with a girl.
5. I'm not a huggy touchy feely person. Unless you go out with me at which point I transform into a soppy limpet. If you hug me it will be returned tenfold but I am unlikely to initiate a hug. Unless you get me drunk then I'm all up for the love.
6. If money was no option then I'd go back to university and study just for the sake of studying. And history would be first on the list.
7. When I was a small person the first job I ever wanted was to be a police dog handler. Weird I know. I was, and still am, obsessed with German Shepherds and am desperate to one day own one. I think they are just amazing.
Now it's time to pass on the love. I hate this bit. I don't even know how many people I'm supposed to pass it on to so I'm just going to make it up.
BLONDE DESIGN - she is so talented it makes me want to throw up. Go and visit her and buy up all her products immediately. GO!
Heather at Little Tin Bird - Beautiful photos. Beautiful crochet. Just beautiful.
Maria at The Goddess's Kitchen - the food, look at all the food! Just gorgeous, and well deserving of the title Beautiful Blogger for that very reason.
And I'm stopping there. I know. Only three people, pitiful but everyone else always backs out of naming people so I am too. If you would like to take it then please feel free, I'll stop short of saying "But you're all beautiful" because even typing that as a joke made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Oh you make me laugh and laugh you do! Okay, so now I know why you LOVE my Radar!!!!
I want to go to Uni and do a History degree!! :o
My hair is the bane of MY life too - and i'm now getting those TINY little white hairs which aren't really visible but make my hair look all fuzzy at the top because they won't lie down properly. So damn irritating.
Need to catch up with you lady and also I know what you mean about awards...argh! Haven't had time to write entries for those yet! Just wanted to say I agree with you on the study front AND I am the same with the hugs...exactly the same! xxx
PS German Shepherds though...run in with one called Caesar who scared the life out of me a lot of the time whilst I was dog sitting him...a story for one day perhaps... xxx
Ha ha you make me laugh!!!
Group vertual hug, for all of us non huggers, except after 2 glasses of wine, once a month when we feel sorry for ourselves and need luv with PMT (can't remember it that is before or after the day hubby can't do anything right, and before and after sheding a tear watching CSI).
Thanks for the award and comments >blush<, I'd like to thank my family, my friends, my sewing machine, my overlocker.............
Is it just me or did a lot of people waste a whole bunch of money going to University?
I could have got a job in a little chocolate shop and learnt to be a chocolatier! I wouldn't have had any debt and I wouldn't have achieved possibly the worst credit history on record!
Baaaaaaah....
I personally like crazy wavy hair. Embrace in and backcomb it into the greatest bouffant of all time!
Well done! Well deserved. Lucie x
I just did this over at mine. With my daughter just aboutr to start Uni, I am a little worried about the estimated £33k + cost !!! Go get your tickets for Calendar girls - it has been a sell out in SHeffield. I was never huggy until recently - it may come with age. xxx
1. I started losing my hair and going grey in my mid-20s... so I just shaved it all off. Much easier. Not that I really recommend it for you but for a guy...
2. I have a history degree... never used it. My wife has a MS in neuroscience... never used it. Why do people go to school?
5. I am a touchy feely person... but I restrain myself because I always read too much into it.
6. I'd definitely be a professional student... Get my MS in History... maybe law school... but yeah... I have neither the money nor the time.
Number 2 is my favorite. Made me laugh out loud in my office...you know the place where I work that has nothing to do with my Masters degree that I will be paying for for the rest of my life 'cause I'm awesome like that.
Thanks so much!
Maria

Ahhh, I loved your list! I started going grey at 22 if thats any consolation, but it won't be! A degree in evelopment economics! Gosh! That sounds very clever to me, as I find it hard to even say the word economy! I usually end up saying enonomonmy! Thats true by the way! Suzie xxx
