Tell me why I don't like Tuesdays

Tuesdays are the worst days of all.

I have declared them Stupid Tuesdays because they are, you know....stupid.

Allow me to explain.

Mondays: They are indeed rubbish. You're back at work, the whole week is ahead of you and it would be easy to sink in to a deep depression. However they usually pass in a blur for me because I'm still adjusting and living in the weekend. (Also Glee is on E4 at 9pm which makes Mondays worth getting through.)

Wednesdays: Well come on. It's Hump Day isn't it? It all gets better from here on in.

Thursdays: I like Thursdays because I know that it's really when the weekend starts. I just have to get through the day and then it's Stitch and Bitch in the evening and I can stay up late because the next day is...

Fridays: And everyone knows they don't really count do they? I can actually do a lot of work on Friday and be 'happy' doing it because at the end of the day you get to go home and start your weekend.

Saturdays: You can't hate Saturday. It's physically impossible. A weekend full of promise lies ahead of you.

Sunday: Ok, it's not a great day because you know Monday's looming but it's still a weekend day. A day for laziness. And Hollyoaks.

Now.

Tuesday.

Ugh.

Tuesdays are far away enough from the weekend that it's just a distant memory, you've already been back at work for one day. And yet the next weekend isn't even a glimmer on the horizon and you have to get through another 4 days (4 days!!) at work.

And that is why Tuesdays are stupid.

However this Tuesday is not so stupid. The reason?

It's time to announce the winner of the 1 Year Blogaversary giveaway!!

Are you ready?

Is your breath bated?

(What does that even mean by the way?)

The winner is....

Now unfortunately Heather has difficulty commenting on some blogs (damn you blogger!), but I can assure you that she did enter the giveaway and I can even tell you what her favourite crisps are....Doritos with a hint of lime. A very fine choice indeed.

You should most definitely visit her - she has crochet skills to leave you in awe (I have appointed her my Crochet Mentor. She didn't know that until now.) and she has crazy escape artist rabbits. And even if she can't comment on your blog, she will reply to your comments on her blog by e-mail which makes her a very lovely person in my book.
Right.
I'm going to get back to hating the rest of Stupid Tuesday.
Any of you lot have a day of the week you particularly don't like?

YAY thank you! I'm so happy to be a winner! I knew my crisp love would come in handy some day.

Crochet mentor is a very fine title indeed, thank you :) I am also working on a pattern for basic granny squares so you will now have no excuse not to make some!
xxxx

ps if I log in via my email, but then open the frame in a new window, and then press backspace, I then get word verification and HOPEFULLY can post a comment!

Oh Heather you're so lucky!! I like Heather's blog too!!
Tuesday's are pretty cack I agree - I'm not a fan of Wednesdays because although it feels like you're half way through, there's still so much to get through still... and yeah, tomorrow's Wednesday - poo!

It's a motherf*cker, getting through a Sunday. That's my applicable lyrics. I dislike Sundays, the evenings especially.

I just had two for tuesday pizza and it's wednesday tomorrow which means we're halfway through and you haven't yet completely wasted the week.

Thanks for the connection to Heather's blog...love it...I used to crochet once upon a time. Perhaps I should take it up again...so...you crochet? Nice. Oh, and I could not agree more...Tuesdays are the absolute worst! No good shows on the television even...as if to agree they save the shows for better days! Oh well, we shall get past this!

Hey I was gonna do a blogaverary giveaway too. Except of course it wasn't a giveaway, it was a trip. And it wasn't so much a trip as it was the winner was going to get to do my laundry. But they would have gotten to keep all the random socks they wanted. Awesome right? Awesome. Congrats to you. Woohoo.

Well done to Heather. And thanks for the link to her blog.
Thursday's are my worse day. I also hate Sunday afternoons when I know the weekend is coming to an end.

I think you're totally right and I think we need a plan to deal with this. We must make more of Tuesdays. They must become Ice-cream Day or Extra Cup of Coffee Day or Nap Day something... but what?

P.S. Bag is Cath Kidston. Don't buy them all - just 24 hours to my pay day :)

Tuesday is pretty lame... I think Thursday is a pretty good day to be honest...Friday is okay but I'm tired - Saturday is the best...and I used to hate Sundays -particularly Sunday evenings before school...but those days are over now! Congrats to Heather! Xxx

Oh Tuuuuuuuuesdays SUCK!!! When I was at uni, me and my flatmate nominated Tuesdays as Jim Beam Day - just to give us something to look forward to. We would get home, crack open some bourbon, then head out to poo na na. Hmmm then followed by double japanese on a wednesday morning :-( not so good...
Well done heather, following you now!

I used to love Tuesdays and Fridays as a kid. No clue why, probably to do with tv.

Now I just adore Sat and Sun and Thurs. The aniticipation thurs is fab!!!

I too have a tough time with blogger, I think it's the blogs where the comment box is embedded (like yours) vs a new page.

I like Thursdays and Fridays - all the hope of a nice weekend ahead. I agree Tuesdays aren't so great - it always seems a long time until the weekend. x
